I am only slightly ashamed to admit that almost every single thing I'm wearing here is J. Crew. The result? I look like I just came back from yachting. But hey, I'm okay with that. 

These shorts and matching flats are the result of my recent poppy obsession. At first I put on these flats as a joke, assuming they would look flat-out ridiculous when paired with shorts of the exact same color. But then I realized I actually loved the way they matched--the color coordination goes with the preppy, nautical vibe of this look. 

How was your weekend? I had a lovely three days exploring new parts of Los Angeles: I got totally overwhelmed scouring the jewelry district, found a new favorite store in Shareen Vintage (and walked away with an embarrassing amount of treasures I can't wait to show you), and went for a gorgeous hike in Malibu that was a much needed escape from the city. Hope your Mondays are lovely (or at least bearable)!
