Disco Queen

{Vintage dress via Shareen's, Jessica Simpson wedges, Urban outfitters watch, Jane Hollinger bracelet, Flea Market Girl necklace, Kendra Scott Design hoops}
This dress and I are involved in a torrid love affair. It's one of several dresses I snapped up (feeling like the luckiest girl in the world) at Shareen's Vintage. I absolutely adore everything about it.

Obviously I'm on a pleated kick right now, but this dress is so much more than that. I am not only obsessed with the all-over pleats of the dress, but also its seriously '70s vibe. The silhouette is feminine but relaxed, with a cinched waist and draped top. And the checked print of the fabric provides the perfect amount of subtle detail.  This dress is also very versatile. I wore it to work and then kept it on for a dinner date!

I completed the '70s look by adding hoop earrings and espadrilles. As I was walking out the door, I considered adding this necklace- too costumey for the already groovy look? Nope. Well, maybe. You can decide.

The light in the late afternoons is so gorgeous.

don't forget to follow me on...
